Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to keep, so that it can recognise your browser from one page to the next. This policy lists every cookie StaffSource sets, and why.
What we do not use
StaffSource uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and shares no cookie information with advertisers. The cookies below are all strictly necessary: they keep the site secure and working, and are never used to build a profile of you.
Cookies we set
ss_csrf: proves that a form sent to us, such as a job application, really came from this site and not a forged page. Kept: until you close your browser.ss_admin: keeps a StaffSource recruiter signed in. Candidates and employers never get this one. Kept: 8 hours.ss_totp_new: holds a recruiter's new two-step sign-in key while it is set up. Kept: 15 minutes.
Settings kept in your browser
Your light or dark theme and magnifier settings are kept in your own browser, not in a cookie, and are not sent to us.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare protects this site from attacks and automated abuse. It may set its own strictly necessary security cookies, such as __cf_bm and cf_clearance, including for the bot check on forms such as the application form. See Cloudflare's cookie list.
Your choices
Your browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and stored settings, usually under its privacy settings. If you block the cookies above, forms and signing in will not work, because the site cannot then tell a real request from a forged one. Stored settings can be cleared at any time; the site simply goes back to its defaults.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary, and there are no others, we do not ask you to accept them in a pop-up.
